Learn how to review insights from your analyses and interact with the results.

Overview

Once an insight has been created, you can review and refine it in several ways. This guide covers how to interact with insights, make edits, and share or export your results.

Reviewing and Editing Insights

When reviewing an insight, you have several options to interact with and refine the content:

Highlighting and Questioning

  • Highlight content: You can highlight specific parts of the insight to focus on particular sections
  • Ask about sources: Ask Orion “where was the source from” to understand the origin of specific information
  • Ask specific questions: You can ask Orion any questions about the insight content
Using Insight Chat for troubleshooting

Making Changes

  • Remove content: Ask Orion to remove specific things within an insight
  • Change visualizations: Request different chart types for your data tables. For example, you can ask to change a data table to a pie chart or keep it as a regular table
  • Save preferences: You can save your preferred data table formats and visualizations so they’re used in future insights

Refining the Insight

Before finalizing your insight, you can:
  • Remove unnecessary content
  • Add additional information
  • Simplify the insight
  • Edit specific data tables to ensure they’re saved in your preferred visual format

Sharing and Exporting Insights

Once your insight is in a good place, you have several options for sharing and exporting:

Click the share button to send the insight via email to team members or stakeholders.

Copy to Clipboard

Copy the entire insight to your clipboard for easy pasting into other applications.

Download as Markdown

Download the insight as a markdown file for use in documentation or other markdown-compatible tools.

Copy to Google Doc

When copying to a Google Doc, the insight will be copied exactly as it appears. Simply paste it into your Google Doc, and the formatting will be preserved.

Download as PDF

Download the insight as a PDF file for easy sharing and archiving.

Update to Google Slides

To upload an insight into Google Slides, you’ll need to prepare your slide deck in advance. Make sure you have Google Slides integration enabled.
  • Create sections: Add specific sections in your Google Slide where you want content to appear. For example, if you’re looking at weekly trends, create a section labeled for weekly trends data
  • Add placeholders: Include blank data tables or bullet points where you want Orion to insert content
  • Use speaker notes: Add context in the speaker notes, such as “fill in the weekly metrics here”. Orion will read all information within the Google Slide, including speaker notes, and input the insight content into the slide deck accordingly
The more structure and context you provide in your Google Slide template, the better Orion can match the insight content to the appropriate sections.
